• Your username, BrandObjects ID or alias is displayed throughout BrandObjects (and so available to the public) and is connected to all of your BrandObjects activity. Other people can see your purchases, items for sale, store, feedback, ratings and associated comments.
• BrandObjects collects personal information when you register to use BrandObjects services or to post content on BrandObjects. At registration you are asked for your email address and certain other optional information.
• If you would like to obtain a Seller account, BrandObjects will ask for your billing address, phone number, and credit card information.
• BrandObjects automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request. This data is only used in the aggregate.
• BrandObjects uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting. IP addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Your IP address is stored in BrandObjects's user registration databases when you register with BrandObjects. IP addresses may be used for various research purposes.

Service-related Announcements

BrandObjects will send you a welcome/confirmation email when you sign up for BrandObjects's services. Receipt of this email is required for using BrandObjects's services.

BrandObjects will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.

Tracking Technologies

We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. BrandObjects may disclose personally identifiable information to parties in compliance with BrandObjects's Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, as BrandObjects in BrandObjects's sole discretion believes necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, BrandObjects may disclose name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, email address and company name. BrandObjects may share aggregated demographic information with business partners.

BrandObjects is affiliated with a variety of businesses and works closely with them. These businesses may operate stores on the BrandObjects website or sell items to you from the BrandObjects website. BrandObjects may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. Due to the nature of BrandObjects's business model, when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, you will share customer information that is related to such transaction with that affiliated business.

BrandObjects is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the BrandObjects site. Editing and Deleting Account Information

You can change your BrandObjects Account Information (except your username), at any time. BrandObjects may send you certain communications relating to the BrandObjects service, such as service-related announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your BrandObjects account. You can delete your BrandObjects account by emailing contactus@brandobjects.com. Please note that your identification, billing and contact information may remain in BrandObjects's records for some period.

BrandObjects limits access to personal information about you to employees who BrandObjects believes reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. Your BrandObjects Account Information is password-protected.

If your personally identifiable information changes you may correct or update it by making the change on Your BrandObjects Page. You may delete or deactivate your account by emailing Customer Support at contactus@brandobjects.com or by postal mail at the contact information listed below. BrandObjects will respond to your request within 10-20 business days.

Security
